No RMA data extracted yet.

2. Review and edit

3. Choose template & generate

Choose a template and click Generate to create and copy the formatted email. Then select the customer email in Outlook 2016 → Reply → paste. Add PDFs manually.

Note: Attach and Remark require a Claim number. Please extract or enter the Claim number in Review and edit before using these buttons.

Outlook: ensure the reply format is HTML. Generate attempts rich HTML clipboard first and uses a formatted selection fallback. The logo uses a remote image URL and may be blocked by Outlook image privacy settings. Outlook 2016 may not preserve embedded data-URI images; if the logo disappears, insert the supplied PNG separately in Outlook. Check the result in Outlook before sending. RMA data is processed locally. The logo loads from a third-party website when connected to the internet. Confirm the third-party logo is an approved MSI asset before external use.

Version History — v6.4
VersionChanges
v6.4Template 5 NRCN: Set the document hyperlink font size to 13px and matching Calibri/Arial font and line height in all three scenarios, consistent with the surrounding email body text. No wording, URLs, or other functionality changed.
v6.3Template 5 NRCN: Replaced the local PDF document links in all three scenarios with the publicly hosted guideline webpage at https://nrcn2026.pages.dev/. No email wording or other functionality was changed.
v6.2Updated Template 4 OOW Rejection wording to remove the repair quotation statement. Added a local PDF document hyperlink to all three Template 5 NRCN scenarios. The PDF must be distributed with the HTML locally; a hosted HTTPS URL is required for customer-accessible links in Outlook.
v6.1Template 4: Hide the Invoice already provided checkbox for OOW Confirmation and OOW Rejection. The checkbox remains available for PC / Laptop Warranty and Monitor Warranty. No email content or other functionality was changed.
v6.0Template 4: Added OOW Rejection with the supplied rejection wording. Serial number and model are automatically populated from Barcode / Serial Number and Marketing Name. Existing templates and functions remain unchanged.
v5.9Template 4 OOW Confirmation: Renamed the email heading from "PC Warranty Request Form" to "Out-of-Warranty Repair Confirmation". All other email wording, fees, layouts, and functionality remain unchanged.
v5.8Translated the entire Version History into English. Added a visible reminder and tooltips that Attach and Remark require a Claim number. No email templates or fees were changed.
v5.7Added the Remark button between Attach and NRCN. It uses the current Claim number in the sr_list parameter of the MSI SRLT Search URL. If the Claim number is empty, a warning is shown and the link does not open. Existing functions and email templates were preserved.
v5.6Added OOW Confirmation to Template 4 based on the supplied example. SN is populated from Barcode / Serial Number, and Model is populated from Marketing Name. Other options remain unchanged.
v5.5Added an expandable Version History section to record known changes without affecting the email templates.
v5.4Added Ship Item and NRCN checkboxes to Template 3. Selected messages are appended after the existing DO NOT ship sentence.
v5.3Updated the opening wording of Template 4 and highlighted “handwritten forms will not be accepted” in bold red text.
v5.2Enabled automatic population of customer and product details in Template 4, with PC / Laptop and Monitor options and an Invoice already provided checkbox.
v5.1Improved plain-text parsing for Barcode / Serial Number and multiline Fault Description, preventing invoice numbers and dates from being included in the fault description.

There is insufficient change history for versions earlier than v5.1; no earlier changes have been assumed.
